PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering reaction force producing control device, improved in steering feeling. SOLUTION: The steering reaction force producing control device comprises: an angle sensor 8; a first reaction force producing motor 16; a second reaction force producing motor 17; a speed reducing mechanism 91 transmitting steering reaction force to a column shaft 6; and a control unit 4 controlling the first reaction force producing motor 16 and the second reaction force producing motor 17 on the basis of at least a steering angle. The control unit 4 controls impact generated at a play part of a transmitting system of the speed reducing mechanism when a steering rotating direction of an operation system is reversed.
