PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner capable of reinforcing strength at attachment without thickening a thickness of a partition plate to be attached with reactors. SOLUTION: The outdoor unit for the air conditioner is constituted by partitioning a bottom plate into a compressor chamber and a heat exchanger chamber by the partition plate 2 erected on the bottom plate, and attaching a plurality of the reactors 7 by attachment members 10 to the partition plate 2 facing the compressor chamber. The attachment member 10 is constituted by a fixing part 8 for fixing the reactor 7, and an attachment part 9 formed hollowly between the fixing part 8 and the partition plate 2 in a state of being attached to the partition plate 2.
