PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment furnace of a flat plate-shaped member, which performs a heat treatment of even a large flat plate-shaped member. SOLUTION: In this heat treatment furnace of the flat plate-shaped member for performing the heat treatment while transferring the flat plate-shaped member 50 in the furnace longitudinal direction of a tunnel-shaped furnace body 1, rollers 2 extending into the furnace from both side walls 1b of the furnace body 1 are opposed to each other and inclined so that their in-furnace 1 side is lower than a side wall 1b side, the plurality of rollers are rotatably disposed in the furnace longitudinal direction, the flat plate-shaped member 50 is loaded on the rollers 2, and the rollers 2 are rotated in the specific direction to transfer the flat plate-shaped member 50 in the furnace longitudinal direction of the furnace body 1.
