摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize the temperature rise effect of a cylinder bore in warming-up, while excellently injecting a coolant, by bleeding air from a water jacket of a cylinder block when injecting the coolant, without arranging an air bleeding hole, in a cooling system having mutually independently a water jacket of a cylinder head and the water jacket of the cylinder block and having an electronic control valve for opening-closing an outlet of the water jacket of the cylinder block. SOLUTION: When an electronic control unit for controlling the electronic control valve inputs a water filling starting signal to a radiator from an external part, the electronic control valve (a second thermostat) is forcibly controlled for opening. When controlling the electronic control valve for opening, cooling water is filled in the water jacket of the cylinder block, and air is bled via the electronic control valve. In ordinary warming-up, a flow of the coolant in the water jacket of the cylinder block is dammed up by controlling the electronic control valve for closing, and a cylinder bore is raised in temperature.
