PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the noise of an in-wheel motor equipped with: a rotor which has a bottomed cylinder form, forms a center hole having a wheel shaft passing through the center of a bottom, and includes a plurality of permanent magnets fixed to a circumferential wall surface in a row along the circumferential direction; and a three-pole stator coil. SOLUTION: Six through slot holes are formed in the bottom surface of a rotor body 51 at an equally interval, or a holed portion or a weight portion, and a non-holed portion or a non-weight portion in the position shifted by 30 degrees from the holed portion, are formed on the rotor body 51 by mounting a mass body. Or, a ring piece is jointed to the tip end part of the circumferential wall surface 54 of the rotor body 51. The secondary resonance frequency is different between the holed portion or the weight portion and the non-holed portion or the non-weight portion, and the secondary resonance frequency is separated between the holed portion or the weight portion and the non-holed portion or the non-weight portion, and therefore the secondary resonance frequency vibration energy is reduced and the noise is reduced.
