#CMT# #/CMT# Textile aftertreatment agent comprises: (a) surfactant and/or builder; (b) perfume(s) (0.0001-10 wt.%); and (c) spherical, porous polyamide particle (0.1-10 wt.%), which comprises a number average particle diameter of 1-30 mu m, a specific Brunauer, Emmett and Teller surface (according to DIN 66131) of >= 5 m 2>/g, an oil absorption capacity (boiled linseed oil) of >= 160 ml/100 g, a crystallinity (differential scanning calorimetry measuring) of >= 40% and a quotient of volume average particle diameter to number average particle diameter of 1-1.5 wt.%. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The agent is useful: in the rinse cycle, during the textile conditioning method, in an automatic washing machine; in the form of a conditioning substrate in an automatic tumble dryer; and for conditioning textile fabrics. The spherical, porous polyamide particle is useful: as carrier for liquid active substance such as perfume, in textile aftertreatment agent; and for treating textile fabrics with liquid active substance including skin protecting oils (all claimed). The polyamide particle is useful in different washing- and cleaning- agent i.e. in powdery textile washing agent, liquid softener and liquid all-purpose cleaner. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The spherical, porous polyamide particle retards the release of the liquid active substance during the treatment of textile fabrics in the textile conditioning. The agent comprises particulate form carriers that receive large quantities of liquids, which store and provide delayed release of the detergent. The polyamide particle can be easily mixed with perfume oil and it remains free-flowing. The polyamide particle releases the incorporated fluid (e.g. perfume oil, skin care oil or other active materials) slowly over a longer period, which provides long-lasting effect and the washed fabrics have uniform smell for longer period of time, thus the polyamide particles adsorb bad odor from the fabrics. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Composition: The agent comprises: 5-80 (preferably 8-15) wt.% of a softener; greater than 0.1 (preferably 3-30) wt.% of cationic surfactant (preferably quaternary ammonium compound such as esterquat); emulsifier (preferably non-ionic surfactant including alkoxylated fatty alcohol and/or alkyl glycoside); and an aroma therapy component. The agent is in: a solid form (preferably powder or granular form), a form of a molded body (preferably tablet form) or liquid form; or in a form of a conditioner-substrate (preferably a dry cloth). The agent contains the spherical porous polyamide particle with a liquid (preferably a hydrophobic liquid) comprising perfume and/or cosmetic active agent such as caring agent, antibacterial and/or deodorizing substances. The agent comprises softener, preferably cationic surfactant including esterquat (5-30 (preferably 10-20) wt.%), emulsifier, preferably non-ionic surfactant e.g. fatty alcohol ethoxylate (0-5 (preferably 0.1-3) wt.%), preservatives (0-2 (preferably 0.001-0.5) wt.%), perfume (0-5 (preferably 0.01-1) wt.%), dye (0-0.1 (preferably 0.01-0.005) wt.%), optional water (>= 50 or 60 wt.%, preferably 75-90 wt.%), optional solvent, preferably monovalent alcohol such as 2-propanol (0.05-5 (preferably 0.3-3) wt.%), optional pH-adjusting agent (0.01-5 (preferably 0.02-1) wt.%), optional electrolyte, preferably inorganic salt e.g. magnesium chloride or sodium chloride (0.01-5 (preferably 0.05-2) wt.%), optional skin care active agent such as almond oil (0-15 (preferably 0.5-5) wt.%), and optional thickener based on polyacrylate (0.01-3 (preferably 0.1-1) wt.%). #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# No suitable example given. |
