摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device mounted with a backlight module adaptive to thin and lightweight constitution while securing optical uniformity of luminance and chromaticity. <P>SOLUTION: A light guide structure is constituted which includes wiring 2 disposed on a substrate 1, LED elements 4, 5 and 6 connected to the wiring 2, and a transparent resin 8 sealing the LED elements, the plurality of LED elements 4, 5 and 6 being mounted linearly on the substrate 1 to guide and enlarge light by the shape of the transparent resin 8. Further, a light guide structure is constituted of a transparent resin 8 having an uneven shape as a light enlarging structure to propagate light principally in a direction perpendicular to the direction wherein LED elements 4, 5 and 6 are linearly arrayed.
