<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master unit of a cordless telephone system for obtaining a sufficient power saving effect and also restricting the shut-down of search in a slave unit. <P>SOLUTION: As for an MFP 1 as a first embodiment, a slave unit 51 does not stop search but continues intermittent search when a synchronizing signal which is temporarily generated in the MFP 1 is received. In the MFP 1, the operation of a radio communication circuit 22 is stopped again after the operation of the radio communication circuit 22 is restored temporarily, so that the power saving effect in the MFP 1 can be obtained sufficiently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
