<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording/reproducing device avoiding a collision between an optical disk and an objective lens, without increasing power consumption or increasing size of an optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic body 8b is installed on a movable section 8b of an actuator 8 and a semi-rigid magnetic body 10a included by a coil 10c is installed on a fixed section 8a. A current is made to flow into the coil 10c, so that the semi-rigid magnetic body 10a is magnetized or demagnetized. The magnetic body 8b is absorbed or released, so that the movable section 8b is held by the fixed section 8a or separated off. The movable section 8b is attracted and fixed by magnetizing the semi-rigid magnetic body 10a when the power is turned off or the actuator is not driven, and the movable section 8b is released when the power is turned on or the actuator is driven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
