<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell for suppressing shortage of moisture in a solid polymer electrolyte membrane simultaneously as temperature distribution in a cell plane is reduced conveniently and simply. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell includes an anode electrode, a cathode electrode, and an electrolyte membrane arranged between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode, and generates electric power. The fuel cell includes a first part for generating a first heat amount by power generation, a second part for generating a second heat amount which is smaller than the first heat amount, a first heat transfer body for transferring heat of the first part, and a water storage part for storing water to absorb the heat transferred by the first heat transfer body.
