<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with high capacity and excellent cycle characteristics, and for restraining gas generation inside the battery. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery equipped with a cathode 21, an anode 22 and electrolyte solution, the cathode 21 includes a cathode collector 21A and a cathode active material layer 21B containing a cathode active material fitted on the cathode collector 21A. Since the cathode active material is provided formed a coating containing metal salt such as lithium sulfopropionate at least at a part of particles containing the cathode material for absorbing and emitting electrode reaction substances, chemical stability of the cathode 21 is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
