PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting cylinder that can suppress the sliding of a sheet held on a circumferential face. SOLUTION: In the cylinder 10 of a folder in which a web to be transported is cut by a cut-off knife 20a-20c, and a sheet formed by cutting performed by the cut-off knife 20a-20c is folded to form a signature, the surface roughness Ra of the surface of the cylinder 10 is 0.2μm≤Ra≤150μm.
