PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate visual recognition of a target by an occupant in a headlight device of a vehicle which controls the irradiation direction of the headlight so as to be an advancing direction of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The headlight device 1 of the vehicle includes: a headlight 38 for radiating the forward of the vehicle; an advancing direction estimation part 13 for estimating the advancing direction of the vehicle; a light distribution control part 14 for controlling the irradiation direction of the headlight 38 so as to be the advancing direction of the vehicle; a target detection part 15 for detecting a radiation target of the front of the vehicle; a light distribution change part 17 for changing the irradiation direction of the headlight 38 so as to be the direction of the radiation target when the radiation target is detected in controlling by the light distribution control part 14; a vehicle speed sensor 34 for detecting a traveling speed of the vehicle; and a condition changing part 19 for changing a change angle and a change speed of the irradiation direction of the headlight 38, based on the traveling speed in changing by the light distribution change part 17.
