PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore a reproduced information file even when the reproduced information file cannot be reproduced from a recording medium. SOLUTION: A disk control unit 103 reads a moving picture information file out of the recording medium 104 and stores it in a RAM 111. Then a restoration unit 112 confirms seamless information from the moving image information file stored in the RAM 111, and stores the seamless information as a seamless information table in the RAM 111. After all moving image information files are confirmed, the restoration unit 112 generates a playlist based on a photography date and time information table stored in the RAM 111.
