PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP capable of reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI) of the panel. SOLUTION: Between a front glass substrate 1 and a back glass substrate 4 faced to each other through a discharge space S, row electrode pairs X, Y and column electrodes D generating discharge in the discharge space, and a dielectric layer 2 and a column electrode protecting layer 5 covering the row electrode pairs X, Y and the column electrodes D, respectively, are formed; and at least the column electrode D contains a conductive metal constituent of 68.5-95 wt.%, and a glass constituent of 5-25 wt.%.
