PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recorder which can raise tolerance for noise from the outside. SOLUTION: A case 2 of a hard disk drive 1 is grounded, and a mounting plate 3 is set up at an upper part of a bottom plate 4 of the case 2 so as to face a bottom plate 4. A guide member 5 is mounted on an under surface of the mounting plate 3, and a disk drive unit 11 is mounted detachably on the guide member 5. A first earth strip 17 and a pair of second earth strips 18 which are formed with conductive material having elasticity are mounted on a top surface of the bottom plate 4. The first earth strip 17 is abutted resiliently to the under surface of the disk drive unit 11 which is mounted on the guide member 5, and the second earth strip 18 is abutted resiliently to the lower part of the guide member 5.
