PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheat growth promoting method intended for solving a problem of a conventional wheat growth promoting method which is insufficient in shortening of a period from sprouting to earing of wheat. SOLUTION: This wheat growth promoting method comprises irradiating green light of 500-550 nm wavelength to sprouted wheat so as to promote growth of the sprouted wheat and ear up in an early stage.
