<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize and improve reading accuracy of a carved seal formed in a component passing on a production line, in a code reader. <P>SOLUTION: The code reader 1 has: light-emitting diodes 2 for radiating light to a carved seal portion of the component flowing and coming on the production line; a lens 3 condensing its reflected light to an image sensor; the image sensor 4 imaging an image of the carved seal portion of the component; and a control part 5 processing an electric signal output from the image sensor 4. The code reader 1 evaluates quality of the carved seal about all objects flowing and coming while they are placed on the production line. Thereby, the actual condition of the carved seal quality can be accurately comprehended, quality deterioration, variations or the like of the carved seal can be rapidly known, and the stabilization and the improvement of the reading accuracy of a code are facilitated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
