<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio active nitrate waste liquid treating apparatus set in a radiation control area and capable of efficiently performing a microorganism treatment of the waste liquid of high concentration nitrate. <P>SOLUTION: A radio active nitrate waste liquid treating apparatus includes: a denitrifying tank 12 containing the activated sludge growing anaerobic microorganisms which reduce nitric acid to nitrogen gas therein while absorbing or adsorbing the radio active material in the nitrate waste liquid 11 which contains nitric acid and the radio active material; and a re-aeration tank 14 performing aeration mixing of the denitrifying treatment liquid 24 treated by the denitrifying tank 12 and the active sludge growing the aeration microorganisms; and a sludge dissolving tank 81 dissolving the excess sludge 26A, 26B exhausted from the denitrifying tank 12 and the re-aeration tank 14. The excess sludge is dissolved in the sludge dissolving tank 81 by supplying peracetic acid as a dissolving agent, and the dissolved sludge is supplied to the denitrifying tank 12 as a carbon source 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
