PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by reliably reducing the motion of a floating body in a floating body motion reduction apparatus.

SOLUTION: A plate-like member 54 is provided at least on a wave side of a floating body 51 floating on water, and a floating body side end of the plate-like member 54 is separated from a bottom surface of the floating body 51 by a predetermined distance from the height of the bottom surface. The floating body 51 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and incident waves 16 from the wave side are incident on the side of the floating body 51, and part of the waves pass between the floating body 51 and the plate-like member 54.
