<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of drawing a non-circular cylindrical workpiece by which a swollen part is eliminated without generating wrinkles and recesses on a formed surface by performing a drawing work to the swollen part which is generated in a region near the minor-axis part of the non-circular cylindrical workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: In a drawing method which is provided with a spindle mechanism 2 in which drawing rollers R are mounted to the top of the spindle 7 and a workpiece holding mechanism 3 for holding the non-circular cylindrical workpiece W which is arranged opposing to this spindle mechanism 2 and by which the drawing work for forming the end part of the workpiece W into a circular cylindrical shape is performed, after performing the drawing work for forming the end part of the workpiece W into a slope 33 which is inclined so as to become a smaller diameter gradually, the drawing work is performed to the swollen part b in a region near the minor axis part (a) of the workpiece W by shifting the workpiece W by a prescribed angle on a plane including a minor axis plane of the non-circular cylindrical workpiece W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
