PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical technique where a high added value nanocarbon material is selectively supplied from waste tire at a low cost, and further, to provide a technique where the conversion of the waste tire to effective resources is more simple than synthesis of a carbon nanotube or the like using a synthetic rubber component (such as butadiene and isoprene) first synthesized through a complicated treatment process from crude oil components of C4 and C5, and which technically, socially and economically contributes to effective utilization of the waste tire.
SOLUTION: In the method for producing a carbon nanotube, a waste tire is heated and separated in a decomposition furnace so as to extract primary oil, the primary oil is further subjected to heating treatment so as to extract secondary oil as the remaining oil component to be made into the synthetic raw materials of a carbon nanotube from which impurities composed of A to C heavy oil components as the main components of the waste tire, solid matter and sulfur are separated and removed, the secondary oil as the remaining oil component is introduced onto the surface of a substrate arranged at the CVD system together with carrier gas, and a carbon nanotube is heated and synthesized on the substrate.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
