PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive winding device of a shutter door, which can be housed in a winding cylinder without the provision of an urging means outside, which can facilitate the operation of mounting an urging means and other attachments in the winding cylinder, and which can maintain sufficient strength. SOLUTION: This winding device of the shutter door comprises: a winding shaft 20; the winding cylinder 22 which is rotatably and externally fitted to the winding shaft, which has an urging means storage space 21 formed in an inner surface, and which has the shutter door wound around an outer periphery; and the urging means 23 which is arranged in the urging means storage space 21, and which urges the winding cylinder 22 in the winding direction of the shutter door with respect to the winding shaft 20.
