PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sandwich packaging material which can package a sandwich in a sanitarily favorable form as in a conventional manner, and can be smoothly opened so that the sandwich is taken out easily. SOLUTION: The packaging material includes a bag body formed by sealing two outer films such that both side ends of two outer films are sealed and a seal line connecting both side ends is formed. The bag body is formed so as to accommodate a sandwich in one area defined by the seal line. A cut defining a projecting handle flap is formed in the other area of at least any one of the two outer films and opposite to the one area. At least one of the outer films has easy peelability imparted in a range corresponding to an area between both ends of the cut of the seal area where at least the seal line is formed.
