PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for memory migration without invalidating a target line in a distributed memory multiprocessor system. SOLUTION: When a cell of a migration destination is defined as a new cell and a cell of a migration source is defined as an old cell, a fetch request of a memory line for migration from the new cell to the old cell is transmitted. The old cell receives the fetching request and transmits data to the new cell, or also transmits directory information to the new cell.
