PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electrophotographic photoreceptor containing triarylamine dimer obtained from a specific preparation process. SOLUTION: The triarylamine dimer is prepared using polyethylene glycol or di- or mono-alkyl ether of polyethylene glycol as a reaction accelerator and using the Ullmann reaction represented by scheme (I).
