PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reliably connecting a connection cable to a rotary encoder by a simple means. SOLUTION: A cable fixture 1.1 arranged in a case 1 of an angle measuring device has an undercut section, and the connection cable 2 has a fixed section 2.1 having a longitudinal axis. By using a positioning element at right angle to the longitudinal axis positioned at the undercut section of the cable mounting section 1.1, the fixed section 2.1 is held in one direction (first axis). The longitudinal axis of the fixed section 2.1 can be inserted into the undercut section by moving along a second axis facing a direction inclined to the first axis. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
