PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skid of a walking type tending machine, which stably and easily carries out a tilling operation. SOLUTION: The skid 15A of a walking type tending machine 1 which rotates a tilling shaft 9 through a power transmission mechanism by the driving power of an engine 3 being a power source and tills and travels by the rotation of a tilling tine 10 attached to the tilling shaft 9 is equipped with a first bar 17, a second bar 18 to be inserted into soil 30 and a coil spring 19 for elastically connecting the first bar 17 to the second bar 18, which are fixed on a machine body side, respectively.
