DEODORANTS AND/OR ANTIPERSPIRANTS HAVING AN IMPROVED ODORIFEROUS EFFECT AND ABSORPTION OF ODORS

Disclosed is a cosmetic or dermatological deodorant or antiperspirant composition containing at least one deodorant or antiperspirant agent, 0.0001 to 5 percent by weight of fragrance(s), and 0.1 to 10 percent by weight of spherical porous polyamide particles in a cosmetically or dermatologically acceptable carrier, the percentages being in relation to the weight of the entire composition. The spherical porous particles have a number average particle diameter ranging from 1 to 30 µm, a minimum specific surface area of 5 m²/g according to BET (DIN 66131), a minimum oil absorption capacity (boiled linseed oil) of 200 ml/100 g, a minimum crystallinity (DSC measurement) of 40 percent, and a ratio between the volume average particle diameter and the number average particle diameter ranging from 1.0 to 1.5. Said particles provided a long lasting scent, absorb unpleasant odors, and increase the performance profile and the persistence of the scented impression.
