The bearing arrangement has a bearing seat (10) and a bearing ring (12) plugged on or into the bearing seat of a roller bearing (14). A screwed ring (18) is screwed on a thread (16) of the bearing seat to fasten and brace the bearing ring. The screwed ring is formed as shearing screwed ring of a pull-off nut (20). The bearing seat is formed as lifting lug and the thread is formed as external thread. An independent claim is included for a method for bracing a bearing ring of a roller bearing.
