Provided is a method for forming a film for an organic semiconductor layer. The method is provided with a step of preparing a substrate having a groove formed on a surface thereof; a step of adhering, on the substrate, a droplet of an organic semiconductor solution wherein an organic semiconductor material is dissolved or diffused in a solvent; and a step of forming the organic semiconductor layer by drying the droplet. The droplet is adhered at a position where a part of the outer circumference of the droplet flows into the groove.
