MACHINE TRANSLATION DEVICE, MACHINE TRANSLATION METHOD AND PROGRAM

This object aims to provide a machine translation device that repeats a machine translation between two languages so as to carry out translations from the first language to the N-th language, (N is an integer number that is equal to or more than 3). A machine translation device is provided with a translation subject reception unit (11) that receives a translation subject document which becomes a translation subject of the first language; a multi-language parallel translation information memory unit (12) that stores one or more multi-language parallel translation information data that are a combination of words with the same meanings from the first language to the N-th language; a multi-language parallel translation information selection unit (13) that selects multi-language parallel translation information including a word contained in a translation subject document of the i-th language (i is an integer number from 1 to N-1) from the one or more multi-language parallel translation information data; a machine translation unit (14) that repeats machine translation processing from the translation document of the i-th language to a translation document of the (i+1)-th language, starting from the translation subject document of the first language until a translation subject document of the N-th language so that a relationship of the parallel translation between two languages contained in the multi-language parallel translation information after the selection can be used; and output unit (15) that outputs the N-th language document after the machine translation.
