<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use the heat held by a high-heat radiating object manufactured with input of heat. <P>SOLUTION: In a ceiling section of a building 3 of a coil yard 1 for temporarily storing hot-rolled coils 2 which are steel intermediate products as the high-heat radiating object manufactured in the hot rolling facility of an iron mill, a chimney 4 is provided, having a lower part formed in an almost pyramid shape and a top formed in a tubular part 4a extending upward, and a power generation turbine 5 is installed at a necessary position of the tubular part 4a. An intake opening 7 is provided in a lower end section of a sidewall 6 of the building 3. The hot-rolled coils 2 in a hot-temperature state after the manufacture are sequentially carried in the coil yard 1 and are collected and stored until proceeding to a next process. Air introduced from the intake opening 7 into the building 3 is sequentially raised in temperature by the heat possessed by the hot-rolled coils 2 to create a rising air current and the power generation turbine 5 is rotated by the rising air current flowing through the tubular part of the chimney 4 to perform wind power generation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
