<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting fixture for performing the infrared ray irradiation forward of a vehicle which is capable of easily forming the desired visible light distribution pattern by the visible light irradiation separately performed from the infrared ray irradiation while preventing its front lens from being seen reddish during the infrared ray irradiation. <P>SOLUTION: In the projector type lighting fixture, a first light source unit 14 for infrared ray irradiation and a second light source unit 16 for visible light irradiation are arranged behind a light projection lens 12 arranged on the optical axis Ax extending in the longitudinal direction of the lighting fixture.
