<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute printing to a recording medium recording a print target image of direct printing, in the direct printing. <P>SOLUTION: This image recording device directly connected to an image printer, making the image printer execute printing of the print target image displays a setting screen related to the printing on a display part of the image recording device, and a user selects setting related to the printing and the print target image, and instructs a printing start. When a specific mode with the recording medium installed to the image recording device as a print medium is included in the selected setting, all image data of the print target image are stored in a buffer memory of the image recording device from the recording medium based on the instruction of the printing start, thereafter notifies the image printer about a start message of a print job of the print target image, and transmits the image data of the print target image stored in the buffer memory to the image printer according to a request from the image printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
