PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of increasing variable displays to make a player expect a shift to an advantageous game state out of the variable displays constituting a linked rendering. SOLUTION: In a Pachinko machine making a player hard to visually recognize the number of retained balls during a linked rendering executed by variable display for generating a big winning and the variable display waiting at the time, a "long-lasting variation" that a prescribed variable display is executed based on one start winning, and a "first half variation" and a "continuous variation" executed based on two times of start winnings are performed. The player cannot recognize the number of times of the start winnings required for the variable display even if a prescribed variable display is executed during the linked rendering, so that the variable displays making the player expect the generation of the big winning are increased. Also, the "first half variation" is executed only when one or more variable displays are waiting, so that the "continuous variation" can be reliably executed after the "first half variation" and it is made possible to prevent an incomplete variable display from being executed.
