PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of reducing a braking deviation, and improving vehicle stability at braking. SOLUTION: In a straight-ahead braking state, a pinion radius R of a steering device is changed to be large. The pinion radius R is changed to be larger than a normal condition at the straight-ahead braking, thereby deteriorating steering stiffness, and decreasing an effective radius of turning wheels. Therefore, a CP amplifying rate of a front tire (the turning wheel) is lowered, and the braking deviation is reduced, thereby improving vehicle stability at braking. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
