摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strand for a wire harness which shows a durability equivalent to or higher than that of a conventional Cu strand in a stable manner, being excellent in recycling property as well, in a crimping part to a terminal component. SOLUTION: An Al plated steel wire has a diameter (a diameter equivalent to disc) D of 0.1-0.6 mm, wherein an Al plating coat is formed around a steel core wire. Here, (1)ρ<SB>1</SB>/ρ<SB>Cu</SB>≤6 is established, where: the electric resistance of the Al plated steel wire (diameter=D) at a normal temperature of a unit length isρ<SB>1</SB>(Ω/m); and the electric resistance of Cu wire whose diameter (diameter equivalent to disc) is D at a normal temperature of a unit length isρ<SB>Cu</SB>(Ω/m). (2) Tensile strengthσ<SB>1</SB>is≥250 N/mm<SP>2</SP>.
