PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat utilization device capable of effectively utilizing exhaust heat for a warm-up operation without using a heat accumulation tank with a high capacity. SOLUTION: When a high-temperature thermal medium heated by an exhaust gas of an engine 1 is heat-accumulated by storing in the heat accumulation tank 14 and the engine 1 is started, a temperature of a coolant can be quickly increased at the time of the warm-up operation so that the coolant is heated by the high-temperature thermal medium in the heat accumulation tank in the case that the temperature of the coolant of the engine 1 is low, and a period required for the warm-up operation can be shortened. In this case, the thermal medium in the heat accumulation tank 14 can be kept warm at a temperature higher than the boiling point of the coolant since the thermal medium with a boiling point higher than that of the coolant is used. Thus, the capacity of the heat accumulation tank 14 can be decreased in comparison with a case that the coolant is directly stored, and the heat accumulation tank 14 can be miniaturized and made light in weight.
