PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally provide an improved portable electronic terminal. SOLUTION: In the processing method of a prescribed event of a first routine from among a plurality of routines preserved in the portable electronic terminal, the portable electronic terminal includes an output device and a processing device, and the first routine is provided with a multitude of first output setting, while a second routine is configured to be adjustable between a normal mode and at least a first alternative mode; and in this case, at least the first alternative mode is provided with a multitude of alternative output settings while the portable electronic terminal is configured to process the prescribed event of the first routine in accordance with the firs output setting, when the second routine is the normal mode. This method includes the detection (104) of generation of a prescribed event of the first routine, decision (108) that the second routine is in at least the first alternative mode and the procession (116) of the prescribed event, in accordance with the alternative output setting after responding to the decision.
