PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce useless printing by quickly previewing the leading page of a document to be combined included in a combined document when printing a document combined by a document combining function. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a forward/backward jump command input means, changes a page to be displayed as a preview to the leading page of another document to be combined adjacent to the front side of the document to be combined to which a page displayed as the preview at present belongs when a forward jump command is input, and changes the page to be displayed as the preview to the leading page of the other document to be combined adjacent on the back side of the document to be combined to which the page displayed as the preview at present belongs when a backward jump command is input.
