PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain much more accurate body motion (number of step) display in a body motion detector for determining a plurality of body motions to be detected with prescribed intervals as continuity, counting body motions based on the continuous detection of body motions, and switching and displaying the number of body motions for every time when counting the body motions. SOLUTION: When the change of attitudes is detected by an attitude change detection part 44 during the continuous detection of body motions, the switching display of the number of body motions is stopped since the detection of the change of the attitude until the lapse of a prescribed time, and after the detection of the change of the attitude, the number of body motions detected in the prescribed time is counted, and after the lapse of the prescribed time, the counted number of body motions is added to the number of body motions whose display has been stopped for display. Thus, it is possible to prevent the count-up of the display of the number of steps corresponding to vibration other than walking after the change of the attribute. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
