PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in resistance against charge products (ozone, NOx or the like) without causing reduction in initial sensitivity or increase in a residual potential. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes at least a charge generating layer containing a charge generating substance that generates charges and a charge transporting layer containing a charge transporting material that receives the charges generated by the charge generating layer and transports the charges, on a conductive support, wherein the charge transporting layer contains platinum nano-colloidal particles.
