PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave analyzer capable of detecting traveling waves from measured pulse waves without avascularization. SOLUTION: Air bags 13 for measurement are arranged in a matrix shape forming rows and columns in an artery direction and the circumferential direction of a measurement part on the arm belt 5 of a sphygmograph, and pulse wave waveforms in the respective air bags 13 for the measurement are obtained. In the pulse wave analyzer, the traveling waves are extracted from the measured pulse wave waveforms by analyzing the pulse wave waveforms in the plurality of air bags 13 for the measurement positioned on the artery, and a time difference between the traveling waves and reflected waves is obtained as an index for judging an arteriosclerotic degree.
