<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fuel pressure during deceleration (fuel cut) to prepare for fuel recovery. <P>SOLUTION: High pressure fuel from a high pressure fuel pump 26 is accumulated in a fuel accumulating chamber 33, and is supplied to a fuel injection valve 3. When fuel pressure within the fuel accumulating chamber 33 exceeds predetermined valve opening pressure, a relief valve 37 is opened to reduce the fuel pressure within the fuel accumulating chamber 33. Suction negative pressure (negative pressure outlet 46) in an engine intake system is applied to the relief valve 37 in the valve opening direction by a negative pressure passage 45, and the valve opening pressure of the relief valve 37 is reduced during deceleration of the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
