<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly practical preparation fully utilizing the useful constituents of plants of Convolvulus such as sweet potato (foliage) or Ipomoea aquatica. <P>SOLUTION: A tablet containing a powder of a plant of Convolvulaceae and alginic acid or a salt thereof is provided. A method for producing a tablet includes adding alginic acid or a salt thereof as a binder component to a powder of a plant of Convolvulaceae, to granulate the mixture into granules, and tablet the obtained granules. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
