<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration actuator excellent in drive performance, and to provide a lens barrel and a camera with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration actuator includes: an electromechanical conversion element 13 excited by a drive signal; an elastic body 12 having a bonding plane 12e for bonding the electromechanical conversion element 13, and a driving plane 12d for generating an oscillating wave by excitation; and a relative movement member 15 brought into contact with the driving plane 12d by pressure, driven by the oscillating wave, and moved relative to the elastic body 12. One end 13c and the other end 13d, among both ends 13c, 13d of the electromechanical conversion element 13 in the orthogonal direction, have different thicknesses T1, T2 in the direction orthogonal to the bonding plane 12e with regard to the relative movement direction of the elastic body 12 and the relative movement member 15 parallel to the bonding plane 12e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
