<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemorrhoid ligation instrument which allows an operator to ligate a hemorrhoid with one hand and keeps the possibility of operational errors low. <P>SOLUTION: The hemorrhoid ligation instrument 10 includes a main cylinder 12 keeping an O ring 50 for ligating a hemorrhoid fitted on the outer circumference of its distal part, an accessory cylinder 14 arranged slidably within the main cylinder 12 in an airtight fashion which is drawn toward the rear end with respect to the main cylinder 12 so as to suck the hemorrhoid into the inside of the distal side of the main cylinder 12, a working fluid packed within the accessory cylinder 14, and a plunger 16 arranged slidably within the accessory cylinder 14 in an airtight fashion. By pushing the plunger toward the distal side with respect to the accessory cylinder 14, the working fluid is pressurized and the O ring 50 is pushed toward the distal side of the main cylinder 12 by means of the pressurized working fluid to disconnect the O ring 50 from the main cylinder 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
