<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which has a scheme for sharing authentication information among applications of the image forming apparatus while securing security of authentication information. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 1, a functional section authentication section 10 has a first confirmation means 21 for checking whether one functional section 10 has been authenticated and a means 11 for acquiring an authentication key from a section 30 for providing an authentication key if the first confirmation means 21 determines that the functional section 10 has been authenticated, and an authentication information section 40 has a second confirmation means 41 for checking whether an authentication key acquired by the means 11 for acquiring an authentication key matches an authentication key held in the authentication information section 40, and a means 42 for providing log-in information to the functional section 10 if the second confirmation means 41 determines that the authentication keys match each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
