PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent wearing resistance against a load in the practical use of the photoreceptor, high mechanical strength and extremely satisfactory electrical characteristics. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer formed on a conductive support wherein the photosensitive layer contains a polyarylate resin having a repeating structure represented by a formula [1] and an enamine compound having a specified structure.
